About to pick up my first 99 in 300 sav. tomorrow with a steel tube Weaver 2.5 (not mounted but goes with the 99) Thinking of putting a peep sight on it instead. Expect I'll be spending a little more time here in the future, from what I have read it seems there is a "99 monkey" that is a close cousin to the "TC barrel monkey" and the ever present fishermans "bait monkey".

Everything you now do is something you have chosen to do. Some people don't want to believe that. But if you're over age twenty-one, your life is what you're making of it. To change your life, you need to change your priorities.

Hello to all. Long live the 99, a design and function innovation WAY before it's time.

Dave O here in Cold Southern Utah. I Love 99's. It started with my Dad's 250-3000 which he used to feed the family. HOpe you all have a great 2008 filled with some new 99's in great condition.

Between work and shovelling snow I don't get here as much as one would like, But will stick around for awhile. New Years resolution is to keep 99's in good shape and polished up. Keep all the great info coming. Bob

Everyone....Happy New Year Still here. This year was a good year for many reasons. One of them was getting a 358...

Still here for the foreseeable future. Probably diverting into other collecting areas due to the price escalation on 99s. Finally got to hunt some of my 99s in 2007 as I came back to PA from Arizona where I never could draw any tags.
