Is Old Forrester 86 proof worth trying?
Virginia ABC is going to put it on sale Thursday[only]
Thought maybe that I'd try something different.

Clyde Canadian swill. In my whisk(e)y world saying something is equal to Crown is an insult. Tasting notes for Canadian whiskey go like this: Reminiscent of indifferently made grain alcohol, flavored with a bit of cheap artificial vanilla extract, and having been used to rinse out an oxidized aluminum can.

I picked up a bottle of Silas Jones in East Tennessee a while back. It ain't bad for cheap bourbon. I've never seen it locally. I can't answer about the Old Forester.

I picked up a bottle of Silas Jones in East Tennessee a while back. It ain't bad for cheap bourbon. I've never seen it locally. I can't answer about the Old Forester. If you never drank good bourbon you might like it.
