Are those categorized as Texas whitetailed deer in the part of Mexico you hunted in? Not sure to be honest. I've not previously hunted Texas or Mexico. As a crow flies we were less than 10 miles south of Falcon Lake.

Kinda sounds like a schitty hunt. Smaller deer than expected, schitty food. That sucks. Sorry to hear it. Not worth the risk of traveling to that schithole. It wasn't terrible but could've been better that's for sure.

There are some very big bucks taken in Mexico That's what I hear. I don't know if we didn't hit the timing right or what but we didn't see them.

Food was mediocre, lodging mediocre and the hunting was mediocre. There's a trend developing.
