IMO it's about 6 of one, half a dozen of the other, etc.
I've known some men that weren't very happy
because they stayed all puffed up and looking
for a conflict about their furrener wife.
Known some others that wallered in high cotton.
A long time girlfriend I had, had a filipina sister
in law that was what they used to call a nympho.
She'd been caught several times, and used to
tease/tempt me all the time. She looked just
like that woman that played on the Relic Hunter
tv show, except without the boobs.
Could have been sisters. She had the biggest
collection of toys that I'd seen at the time.
Worked with a man that had a m.o. bride he
was all grins about, until their baby came out
wrongly tinted quite unlike either one of them.
He was pretty hard to get along with after that.

I would hope to have raised a son wise enough to make his own good choices. Hopefully also strong enough to tell the old man where to go, should I take issue with his choice. Then I’d know I’d done my job as a father. Sorry if that doesn’t fit the narrative. 🫤

Filipino women have big needy families that require lots of cash to be shipped 'back home'.
Most of them pretty good workers though, if ya can afford to support their families. If you think back to 1920, labor was in short supply. Big needy family is not a disadvantage if they are not from the "entitled" class.
