LaToya Cantrell, affectionally knows as LaToya the Destroyer, Mayor of New Orleans in formal attire ready to party. Democrat rule is pretty predictable. New Orleans, Blue. The rest of Louisiana is quite Red. We just swapped our Dem governor for a Republican conservative. The Red part of the state dominated the Blue cesspool of Orleans Parish. BTW, that location is directly behind the New Orleans City Hall, actually adjacent to the City Hall Parking lot. Poydras runs behind City Hall; City Hall address is Perdido St, which parallels Poydras.
I can't think of a better location in the entire City for this to occur, viewable from LaToya's throne.

That looks like it was just repaired. I wonder how bad it was before they fixed it. Well, "fixed' or 'repaired" in that city, probably not too unlike those wacky pronouns, it is what you say it is. So, not sure I'd want to drive there, just yet. Time will tell if it holds up. DF
