Not sure if it has been mentioned yet, but Bansner is now offering aftermarket stocks for the Pre-64 M70's. I ordered one for a commercial FN Mauser a while back and was just checking for updates on their website and noticed they are now available. Don't have the new Bansner yet, but it should be ready soon. https://www.bansnerandcompany.com/product-category/bansner-composite-stocks/classic/ Hope this helps someone. Kansan

We've been talking about the new Bansner Miller stocks in other threads. Seems like a great option. Just waiting for someone honest to give a good report on them.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I ordered mine in September, so it should be ready soon. I won't be able to provide feedback on the pre-64 specifically, but the FN Mauser shouldn't be too much different as far as build and quality.

I don't think I would buy from them. They don't know what they are selling. They probably don't really know what they are doing. There is only two action inlets for a pre 64, standard and H&H Magnums, and that is only a slightly opened up magazine well toward the front. There is no such thing as short action pre64 inletting. The barrel inlet choices are a joke as well. Looks like someone with money started a company with no knowledge of the product.

Looks like someone with money started a company with no knowledge of the product. Mark is pretty knowledgeable; I’m happy to have another option for p’64.

I have talked to mark directly and probably will again tomorrow at the Dallas safari club. I bought a miller for pattern my stainless classic 300 wm. Really love the ergos and seems to be really good quality. I had to tweak the inleeting just a little but I bought mine without finish so I could get it just the way I wanted and then send it back out for finish. I read somewhere else in another thread I think they were going to all Cnc inletting.

Good to hear they are doing stocks for pre 64s now. I would have no hesitation in getting another stock from Mark and company.
