A lot of this has to do with Vista Outdoors selling off it's ammo and powder companies to a Czech Republic billionaire for close to 2 Billion dollars, and he wants to make a bit of it back

The Czechs haven't even taken control yet. It has everything to do with they know people will pay the price just like the last 3 years.
There taking advantage of the easy pickings plain and simple.

I will let you know next week. I think the minimum is around $100 and then you have the hazmat fee.

I am glad that I have enough to last my lifetime. They are destroying the shooting sports. I just keep my rifles sighted in, anymore, and burn very little ammo on my range. Pathetic.

What is really pathetic is people wanna blame Sleepy Joe, Putin or the Ukraine war etc but did anybody hold a gun to your head while you pulled out the credit card and hit the buy button?
Do you really think the Czechs would have bought Vista if the profit margins weren't high?

I think I might have enough for a few years, but then what??? (Not if I shoot as much as I’d like).
If a new powder company comes along I’d guess they would be bought up to eliminate competition.
I imagine that my main hobby of shooting will decrease. Social security won’t keep up with those price increases.
A guy can always get out his flint muzzle loader and make his own black powder.

Minimum charge is $116 then add hazmat and fuel surcharge. Total was $150. AML supposedly is raising rates again here shortly.

Do you think Vista would have sold out if staying is business were more profitable?

I don’t blame you Calvin. I’m good to the end and don’t have to pay the prices that they will demand in the future.

Was looking at a local store and it appears they got the memo. BIG jump.

So that's the next thing eventually. Got plenty of primers, eventually gonna have to pay way overprice for powder.
