Dinny- My brother used to teach at Martinsville HS. I'm just north of Evansville, but used to live NE of Indy. Got quite familiar with the SR37/I-69 mess...
In the 357 Mag rifle, the 158gr XTP-HP was very impressive on deer. Both boys shot their first with that combo. Farthest traveled 30yds from the shot. Bullet entered the sternum and was found under the hide on a back leg.

I'm not far from Martinsville. The 158gr XTP-HP is a fine 357 MAGNUM bullet, even from a rifle. It comes apart at 357 MAXIMUM rifle speeds and the 158gr XTP-FP is preferred.
I doubt I'll shoot any 158gr bullets in my 360 BHMR but the XTP-PF would get first dibs.
Medics bury their mistakes..

Good deal! Thanks for the info on the bullet! If I decide to rechamber to the BH, I'll keep that in mind.
