I think 45-70, 35 rem, 300 sav., 250 sav, 22 sav hi power would cover everything. You could replace 300, 250 and 22 sav. with 308, 243 and 223 but you'd loose the nostalgia. Besides, the critters you shot dead wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I have one originaly beautiful 1941 Utica 99 EG that feels like it was custom made for me when I bring it up and fire.

243 Win SUCKS compared to a 250 Sav, better check your ballistic charts, the 250 crunches that Winny cart, can't say that about the others.
Back in the heartland, Thank God!

Add another one here, .300 Savage, I'll dig up the serial numbers later.

Yup, 99EG. Sometime after 1939. Sling studs are added, but beautiful rifle. Looks like it might have some nice figure in that stock?

You can add an 1899 30-30 from Canada. This one was bought originally by my grandfather or possibly great-grandfather. From the serial number lookup it was made in 1912. Family story is that the marks in the stock are from bear teeth. Doesn't say much for the gun or the shooter if the bear got that close though! Ron
