I'm selling a friend's shotgun that was left in the estate sale of her son. I'm pretty up on most guns and when I first looked at this shotgun I was not all that impressed with it and thought it was just another Baikal or TOZ shotgun. I looked on some online listing and found nothing on this gun. Then I found a few articles about TsKIB guns and found the same gun in the article. The prices were of course in Russian Rubles and the articles were several years old. According to the articles, these are held in the class of Purdy and Parazzis. Prices bringing in the several thousands of dollars. First, what would be a fair asking price and on what on-line site would be the best place to sell something like this. Thanks

No idea what it's worth, but would love to see some pictures of it.

Crickets I guess we have no resident experts on Russian shotguns.

Search “The Sporting Bookworm”. He is Humpty Dumpty on the Shotgun World site and did post about these guns at one time. I don’t think he can help you with values in America but a quick scan of his site revealed that Rock Island Auctions did sell some of these guns in past auctions.
Best of luck in your search.

Looks like a copy of a German Merkel-style Kersten action. A proven action (although a bit tall). I'd like to see how it was executed in terms of materials and finish. Of course, it may just be a Warsaw Pact/East German period Merkel that was marketed and stamped by a Russian vendor.

These are beautiful shotguns. Tula choked and point wonderfully. I’d buy another but they aren’t common.
