A cover band, but they seem to be so good. Not just covers of a group or 3. They're very versatile. Different players/singers appear at times, but the core group responsible for most. Older, some with full time jobs doin it very good IMO.
Can & have watched/listened to them for hours. Not subpar IMO. Other vids worth a look.
They are outstanding musicians. Some members rotate in and out depending on the genre but there are no players that are subpar in any respect. started watching them a few years ago.

I love it! Flannel shirts, work boots, & they're killin it. Pro's from the bars, offices, schools & factories of the Lexington area. I don't remember the whole story, but not aware of them importing world talent, just locals.
They did a cover of Ride Like the Wind, and in the comments one of the guys from Christopher Cross's band said it was the best cover of that song he'd ever heard. Pretty cool.
This could be their best. Unreal complex song, Brad Delp has a range that is difficult to duplicate. Then there is the Super Soak guitar distortion, Leslie organ, doubled harmony guitars. Wow!

I watched their documentary on YT and what surprised me was that they practice "their" part at their residence or wherever for around 4 weeks or so by themselves. When they get together and play, what they post is usually the first take, sometimes the second. They have it down pat from the git go. Pretty sure that Mike Vandemark can play anything with strings or keys or sticks.

They are just excellent. However the band members have changed a lot over time. The earlier stuff used mostly the same core band members, and I think their material is best.
