My shop sold 70+ Steyr’s last quarter.
The most bolt actions sold by any retailer in the US.
Steyr hired a retail distribution company, basically a sales company to boost US sales. The same company reps for burris optics.
The "salesman" gave PSA a pallet of Discontinued scopes along with a deal on rifles.

When the salesman pitched the deal to PSA he pointed out how well we were doing with the rifles in an attempt to motivate them to buy more.
PSA isn't making [bleep] on the SX rifles. They are selling them to spite us. My shop won't do PSA transfers and they are retaliating.
Like I said...everyone spends their money where they want. If the end all be all of every purchase is price regardless of service, regardless of who the money is going to and regardless of community then eventually the only places to shop will be Walmart and Acadamy.
My shop is an hour and a half away from their HQ and 30 min from a store.
We don't do PSA transfers because I'm not a UPS store. Im not having my people prosses paperwork for a gun I have sitting on my shelf that might be $30 more than they got it at PSA.
I'm truly trying to offer concierge service and provide an environment for folks who want to be treated right.
I can't pay my people well and sell guns for $20 over cost like PSA and acadamy.
But when I get a deal on things I pass them along. And will try to continue that.
