Tinman you sure put the hurt on them Ptarmigan! Bet there tasty! You living the Dream man. Yes sir….they’re fun as hell to hunt and the carcasses make great wolverine bait. I’ve killed about 70-80 so far this season, between the three species. They’re NOT all that great eating though☹️. A bit dark meated, not that there’s anything wrong with some dark meat on occasion. Sometimes they’re frozen solid before the day is over which kind of sucks.
