Phil Some people recall the Arab oil embargo of 1973. None of the oil producing states care about U.S. sanctions. If push comes to shove the oil producing Middle Eastern states will shut off exports to the U.S.A. completely. It wouldn't matter except for the fact that the Biden administration intentionally crippled domestic oil production when he first took office. Bottom line, the U.S. lacks the clout to control world oil prices. That's been over for decades.

Actually, we are now setting records for domestic oil production. Biden didn’t help and did all he could do to limit capital for it, but where there is demand for a product, a way will be found. Anyway, as a country we are producing more oil than ever before and it’s much less leveraged and more resilient than at any point in our history.

The Biden crazies are attempting to restock a portion of the strategic oil reserve at $80 a barrel as we speak.
If they continue to piss off the Middle Eastern oil producing states they won't be able to buy it for 120.
Meanwhile, BRICS has access to all the oil it can use via Russia and the Middle Eastern States which have joined BRICS,...including Saudi Arabia.

Reading something where they are saying that recent finds in Guyana may equal “27 billion barrels”.
Oil is not running out, I no longer believe it is fossil fuel. It is some sort of abiotic process that is constantly replenishing snd making new.

I've held the opinion that oil is replenishing for a couple decades or better. I never bought into .guv and their minions claiming it was a limited resource.
That they were pushing that propaganda was to "create" new taxable commodities and goods and service sectors to further tax monies cash flow. And investment opportunities for WS. Consider ethanol.
Societal and economic engineering is a thing with .guv and money handlers.
