He's telling the truth. We bought calves out of the Sheridan area for several years. Mostly from a few miles east, near Wyarno.
A couple of times, the high was around 10 below.
Wonderful folks up there, BTW.
It would be easy to get hurt, working in those icy corrals.

I worked for a rodeo contractor part time for 20+ years. Seen way too many BAD Bareback wrecks. Always got a little nervous when it came time to mug a horse down. We were blessed to have a couple dang handy pick-up men. I did a little picking up, but was by no means great at it.
