Love the look of walnut. Love the practicality of synthetic.

Camo for whenever you are hunting something color blind, or just plain blind....

The only reason I ended up with a Kimber Montana was because my Kimber Classic 7-08 had misfires. The problem was a cracked receiver. They could not replace the same rifle, so I took a Montana 7-08. I much preferred the Classic.

Just finished this Savage 111. Got it cheap because it had a 7mm Rem Mag barrel that was rusty and pitted inside and out. Rebarreled with match-grade 24"/1-8/5R/stainless/fluted/threaded X-Caliber 7 PRC barrel. Action and barrel are Cerakoted graphite black. Factory trigger (non-AccuTrigger), factory birch stock, bedded and floated. First attempt at rattle can. Got a little heavy with black on the buttstock but I like it. Other side is not so heavy on the black. Infinite Product Solutions brake, treaded to accept a blast redirector. Scope is a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 with EBC-2 reticle. Will probably go hunting but mostly for long range target play.

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.
A good .30-06 is a 99% solution.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion. For me a manners or other quality stick with good paint is much more appealing than the nicest walnut. I'm just the opposite. My .300 Wby Vanguard with it's AA Fancy walnut stock that I made and hand checkered for it. And because I don't like to hunt with it in foul weather, last summer I fitted it with this Wby Griptonite stock.
