I have a like new Ruger 77/17 All Weather Varmint in .17 HMR with the gray laminated stock and a 3-9x40 Cabelas caliber specific scope (HMR) in factory rings. This is the stainless model with 24" semi-heavy contour barrel. It is a very accurate rifle.
Would like to trade +/- for something similar in .17 HM2 and would prefer a wood stocked, bolt action sporter but open to other possibilities. Not interested in semi autos, Savage or Marlins. If you have a Mach 2 and are interested in a trade, please PM and we can talk details. Thanks!

If I can find it, I have a fluted stainless steel Green Mountain 77/22 sporter contour barrel in 17M2. I'm not sure if you can feed 17M2 from a 17HMR magazine.

If it the older version 77/22 with the v-block barrel lock … then all that’s required to convert it to 17 m2 is the barrel , correct bottom metal to convert from 17 hmr to 17 m2 and a 22 lr magazine

In addition to trading for a .17 HM2, would also consider trading for a 77/22 blued sporter with the v-block barrel which I would rebarrel to .17 HMR
Will also sell my 77/17 All Weather .17 HMR for $995 shipped with two magazines.
Please PM with questions, trade options or provide a number to text photos.
Thanks,

If you're interested PM me. (This will only work on the v-block barrel/action for the 77)

Sold pending funds. It turned out it was a better deal to sell outright and buy a factory 17 HM2 as opposed to building one. Thanks for the good input and offers!
