Why in the fugg did they just lower the requirements for the Navy to no GED or High School Diploma required?

Maybe it's a reflection of the military's changing mission objective. Maybe the primary mission objective is not warfighting anymore. Maybe planners see tomorrow's military as an internal force applier to quell internal civil disobedience. Maybe the Democrats have plans to scrap the Posse Comitatus Act. Six times the government has used the military against our own, who pays attention to Posse Comitatus?
If that were the case, would the military prefer a skilled professional army of questionable loyalty ( see historic military voting stats) or a less professional army of obedient immigrants who have no generational respect for the US Constitution or rule of law?
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Posted awhile back that the Army and AF had dropped their standards and were allowing calculators to be used in the entrance exams since 75% couldnt pass the math test.
