Just finished up the home pack, three weeks on the Kenai dipping reds for family and friends. Scored a few large rifle primers, great 80th birthday party,l life is good.

I no longer sweat and toil for my sockeyes. I trade crane breasts for a few fish. I guess I better clean the shotgun as the fish are already in my freezer.

Spending the next couple of days winterizing the Boat and Camper then off to Cordova for Silver fishing and maybe a Velvet Buck.i won’t be able to hike to the Alpine ,but the front Porch of Sons Cabin isn’t a bad spot.

The old man upstairs just gave me a new hill to climb,suffered a mini stroke,got me a shiny alum heart valve.kindblind in left eye and blurry in right ,hard to type, anyway this old steamer ain’t down yet.
