Thinking about a new/first electronic measure/scale. There are many on the market. Frankford, Lyman, RD, Hornady and RCBS. With prices ranging from $150 to near $1K.
I have read that some models have a short life expectancy.
Can anyone recommend a reliable and dependable unit?

I've been running two chargemasters for about 5 years now. They were purchased about a year apart and they both have their own quirks, despite messing with the programming. They will both drift under certain circumstances but it's fairly easy to predict. I run them simultaneously and every so often I'll check the charge from one machine against the other. Once you get used to the quirks it's pretty tough to go back.

I've had my RCBS ChargeMaster 1500 for well over 10 years and it's still going strong. If I needed to replace it I would probably go with the ChargeMaster Lite

Ive got a RCBS Powder Pro that Ive had since 2001. Still going strong but from what Ive seen nothing new seems to last nearly as long as it use to.

Just sent in the tax returns for my last year of employment, and have major refunds coming. But this will be the last year for that.

I've used a Chargemaster since they first came out, what, fifteen or so years ago? Maybe more. It still works great. It is not as precise as my Super Trickler on FX-120i, but it has been chugging along and is "good enough".

Chargemaster going on 10+ years and no issues. Would get one again when when the need arises.

Chargemaster works great, way easier than powder measure and trickling up.
