The launch points, wherever they are regardless of what country they are in should be turned to wasteland. The powers to be in Iran do not want any conflict directly on their doorstep, retribution there would only enforce the large segment of their own unhappy populace so they “farm it out”.
If the price to having these terrorists on your soil comes with enough consequence Iran will shrivel back into itself and can be dealt with more effectively.
Consequence is a concept that has lost its valu and usefulness these days however.

. Tough situation, but those launch sites need to be flattened for starters. And that's not easy because some of them are probably mobile. If a war with Iran starts, then the Strait of Hormuz will be closed to tanker traffic. Ummm maybe you missed the news, but I was speaking specifically about the Iranian backed drone strike on Tower 22 (in the demilitarized zone in Jordan) that killed three US soldiers and injured another 34. You can find Jordan on a map for reference if needed.
