Very cool! I'll have to try to find information on that company when I get some free time.
I also find it interesting they have a 99 pictured with 2pt buttstock checkering, side panel checkering, but not engraved. It is a drawing, but I would think it's based on a real gun (99G) based on how realistic and correct it is. We've seen several EG's with checkering like that.
“The Savage 99 Pocket Reference”. All models and variations of 1895’s, 1899’s and 99’s covered. Also dates, checkering, engraving.. Find at www.savagelevers.com

You know Randy's wife used to be Post Master of the Lititz Post office, I think?
Can't believe you remember that Joe. Yes, she was the postmaster of Lititz, Pa for a spell. But not 60 years ago.
She is a retired now. 37 years. When she started it was hard to get a job in the post office. You had to take a civil service test and score very high on it (she scored 100%). Kind of like the FBI.
Now they can't give those PO jobs away. You don't even need to come in for an interview or drug test. It's easier to get into the post office than it is to get into prison. I doubt most people really understand how bad it is. It's a total sheet show now.
