I wonder how many of you guys in hard core red states are so disgusted will never buy a UAW made vehicle again. I have driven Ford trucks my whole life. My next one will be a Toyota made right here in TX.

A lot of the rank and file are most definitely republican, the problem is, you dont rise political side of unions unless your a boot licking democrat. ive been a member of the IBEW for almost 20 years, I currently run service for a large shop thats been around for over 100 years, and 90%++ of our guys vote red. It in the skilled trades, guys who work steady are almost unanimously conservative. The [bleep] that vote how theyre told, work out of the hiring halls because they cant keep a job Bullschit, you pulled those numbers out of your ASS. please tell me how you know my employees better than I do. If you even went to a jobsite with skilled trades and took a poll, even a job that has guys hired out of the hall, at least half are republican.

Easier for unions/union leaders to get away with illegalities on a large scale under demonrat governance.
During my work career I was forced to join three unions and voluntarily joined one "guild". I would NEVER ever again "join" a union under ANY circumstances here in the United States of America!
PERIOD!
All unions I am aware of today are interested in only one thing amassing ill gotten wealth and amassing political power.
Nowadays ANY attempts at improving work conditions for the dues paying union members is far outweighed by the power mad union leaders political agendas and nefarious wealth accumulating schemes.

Sad this - in decades (centuries) gone past unions were indeed a benevolence achieving entity for their dues paying members - no longer.
