one more 'tack driver' at long-range it is!

The first week I owned this rifle I shot this 15 shot string with it from 1000 yards. The second time I shot ten rounds the next day and had to stop because I kept hitting the bolt holding the white plate and the plate fell off. White plate is 20" diameter.

This one is a 26" Krieger barrel with 1-8" ROT, McMillan stock, Jewel trigger w/M700 action, bushed firing pin hole and bolt closure trued and timed! Got over 3500 rounds through it and it'll still stack 'em at 1000 yards. MY LOAD (not yours) is 38.0 grains Varget w/130 grain Berger target bullet.

Some gun writer said that the 6.5x55 is better overall - and the bolt is on the right side.

Glad to see the bolt is on the "right" side not the right side . Same as my 6.5X47 Lapua. Absolute tack driver!!

Mine all have a .170 freebore. Shoot 135 berger hybrids with 37.7 grains of Varget into small groups. Only cartridge I ever bought my own reamer for. Love it.

They also all shoot 140 vld and 147 eld very well. And they are all lefties lol.
