The second time I shot ten rounds the next day and had to stop because I kept hitting the bolt holding the white plate and the plate fell off. Pretty hard to beat a 6.5x47 Lapua.

Jon Beanland of Oklahoma knows how to build accurate rifles! This one is a 26" Krieger barrel with 1-8" ROT, McMillan stock, Jewel trigger w/M700 action, bushed firing pin hole and bolt closure trued and timed! Got over 3500 rounds through it and it'll still stack 'em at 1000 yards. MY LOAD (not yours) is 38.0 grains Varget w/130 grain Berger target bullet.

dave I thoroughly enjoy mine! 130 NAB at 2850 is a great way to go. I have 2 that shoot the same medicine. Hell on whitetails.

Some gun writer said that the 6.5x55 is better overall - and the bolt is on the right side.

Mine all have a .170 freebore. Shoot 135 berger hybrids with 37.7 grains of Varget into small groups. Only cartridge I ever bought my own reamer for. Love it.
They also all shoot 140 vld and 147 eld very well. And they are all lefties lol.
