$150 a day. Screw that! Parking will be $40 to $60 on top of entrance.

It’s a great show, I am a member, my wife is not. I think you have to be a member to enter. It would cost us $400 for one day. That is crazy. I have not been to SCI for years because of the ridiculous cost.

The cost does seem excessive. I cheaped out last year and didn't go. I regretted not going so I am gonna drive down Friday and take my son to it. It’s $50 for a youth pass which is more than the DSC adult pass.

I joined SCI in 74 if memory serves. I was down at the Tucson office maybe 5 years later to see McElroy about something. I thought it pretty grandiose at that time, boy has it gone nuts since.

It’s a fundraiser. Tickets are donations. Got to see it that way. Does it keep non members out? I’m sure sure, but it’s all about fundraising.

I don’t doubt it at all.

Me and my son drove down and attended the show yesterday. We had a lot of fun. He’s not into sports, animals are his thing. It was really cool to see all of the mounts and he told me stats and tidbits on them. Polar bears, walrus, crocodiles all kinds of neat mounts.
It is expensive to attend but we will go back next year. SCI had a special going on where I got a $179 Kuiu pack for free with purchase of a $150 3 year renewal so that wasn't bad.
It is unreal the money flowing at these shows. I definitely felt poor amongst the crowd lol. He got to see Jim Shockey, Eva, Jackie Bushman, Luke Bryan, and Willie Robertson. We got to see a lot of nice guns who don’t have dealers in my area. Nighthawk, Parkwest, etc.
