This is a long shot, but worth a chance. I recently purchased through auction a Blackhawk 3 screw .357 Mag with a 6.5" barrel. However, upon receiving it, I discovered that it had already been converted to the transfer bar safety system and the action feels terrible. Of course, the unscrupulous dealer failed to divulge this information and well knew the difference between the two. His response was basically "Tough", not my problem.
So, I'm looking for the parts to have it converted back to the original 3 screw action. If anyone has them available, I would be interested in hearing from you.
Thank you!

Frog,
2 things.
I would let us/people know who the dealer was, so we know to steer clear of him on Gunbroker.
2nd, I would go to the single action forum and talk with the guys there. Ask John Taffin, Lee Marvin, Idaho 1945, etc if they have such parts or know of someone who may. Plus maybe contact a few shops that specialize in single actions.

I have a lone 3-screw hammer, if you can find the other parts. Otherwise, Ruger forum is where you want to inquire. Best of luck.

I’d start with Jack First Gun Parts. Jack First stocks a lot of older and oddball gun parts and they’re great people to talk with.
If they don’t stock the parts that you need there’s a chance that they can point you in the right direction.

I'll try the suggestions, thank you!
It was a dealer on Gunbroker, goes by pdsp1949, a shooting preserve out of Rhode Island.
I tried to contact them after receiving the Blackhawk and only after more attempts they replied about a week later that I should have asked if it had been converted before I bid and tough schitt. I get it, by being quiet and letting bidders think it's an unmolested 3 screw it goes for more money, but this tactic is disingenuous at best, if not downright unscrupulous in my opinion.
I contacted Dustin Linebaugh already thinking he might have them, but alas no joy.
Thanks again,

Per our conversation, I am still asking local gunsmiths if they can provide the parts. Evidently RW Grip Frames does not make the parts.

Perhaps Hamilton Bowen and John Powers might have what you need. Heck, John Powers can make those parts!
