"Great live bird gun" is correct as many of these were used for just that. I had one these and it was choked full (Bot) and fuller hehe. Very tight choked I shot it at trap doubles. Many of them were build like that so the buyer could have it opened to what ever he/she wanted.
Snit is correct the tube diameters at the muzzle only give limited info on the choke unless you have measured the bore diameter leading up to the choking section. Many of the guns are "back bored", so you can't really know how much choke there is unless you know the bore. Many competition shooters carry/have access to the bore gauges to make these measurements.
