One of Kurt's friends on Facebook sent him pictures of this bronze statue. It has a 99 on it. Anyone on here ever see a bronze statue with a 99?

Never saw a statue like that one.
Do like the Winchester Thumb Trigger in the background tho.

Interesting statue.

But I can't help noticing that tiny canoe with all that weight in the front would not stay afloat in a swimming pool for more than 4 seconds much less a stream or river. Deer hasn't even been gutted.

I could never own it because I wouldn't believe it any or every time I looked at it.

But that is my problem.

Person that made the statue was an artist and probably has never hunted deer or been in a canoe. I could never get past that.

That’s funny, but true!

That looks like the statues that were given to Friends of the NRA sponsors several years ago. Seems I also recall one with a guy pushing off in a canoe with a bear about to get him.

That's a beauty, girlcollector. bring it to Savage Fest.
It's a work of art. Art doesn't have to be realistic.

Well, just because I have Jo Mora's 99K, I did a search of his Bronze's. No canoes. He wouldn't have made that mistake. He and his son Jo Jr were life time hunters. Peter Hiller, who wrote a book on Mora, and is curator of the Mora Trust and Museum, sent me a couple hunting pics of Mora. None with the Savage.

I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

The thumb trigger Winchester in the back ground, there is one in an online auction going on now. What do those go for?
