Liver pills was Carters.
I got a couple boxes of Doans on the counter. Usually every morning I take 2 of them and a glucosamine tablet.
Getting old really sucks!

I used "Doan's Back Pills" all during the 70's! Loved Geritol Tonic even as a man in his twenties. As a kid "The Watkins Salesman" went door to door with remedies, the best was an ointment for cuts, etc, but BEST for boils (we every kid had boils it seemed ha) When it came to boils or broke off splinters, thorns, deep puncture wounds with debris in them...Watkins Salve would draw (pull) the core of the boil, items, debris right out right now! I heard it could "pull Hell off the cross!" lol I think it gave cancer so it was stopped. Duh.

Although I ought to get my wife a six pack of it for her birthday and she will either be mad at me or grateful to have it.
