In stock at Graf $50.99 (230pm cst 2/1/24)

Just figured someone may be in need, since it's a bit of a back burner cartridge these days.

Yeah, I failed to mention it in my post, but Graf was limit 2 as well. I see they're out of stock now.

I don't shoot factory centerfire ammo, so no horse in the race, but I figured I'd post it since it was in the new arrivals section the other day.

One thing about Graf's, when they don't have a 2 box limit, they only charge one flat rate shipping fee. One box the same as 10.

I like Graf, too. They also tend to do 5-10% bulk discount pricing on items when they aren't in short supply, which is nice when combined with the flat shipping.

If you have a C&R license they give you dealer discounts also. You may have minimum orders, so you have to get friends to go in with you, then you just spread the discount around.

I don't have one, but I also don't have the budget or space to buy enormous quantities of supplies, anyway.

One of my friends has a C&R, but he pretty much exclusively collects milsurps.

Unless you roll your own, that's going to be botique ammo. No major ammo manufacturer offers any.

It’s only like a case, not a pallet.

In our rapidly changing (deteriorating?) world in which mass market flavors of ammo get absolute top priority in manufacturing I'm surprised that any serious shooter of niche/obsolete/low volume ammo hasn't turned to loading their own. .300 Savage is a prime example: .308 brass can be found in about every range trash can (and is superb brass for reshaping into .300 brass), .30 bullets are plentiful and if that even becomes problematic then get a mould and make your own. That leaves primers (expensive but obtainable) and powders (ditto). The cost savings of handloading isn't as good as it once was but is still cheaper than factory stuff, but primarily it liberates you from the whims of the cartridge manufacturing companies (who don't give a rat's patoot about the small percentage of shooters/hunters who use hoary cartridges like the .300 anymore).

Even non-hoary cartridges at times 😉 30AR anyone? WSSM line? 6.8SPC? Some just never really take off, and the factory ammo supply dries up pretty quickly.

A personal carbine favorite, the only 16 year old 327 Federal is basically on life support, imho. The last couple times I have been in Runnings for powder/primers, they actually had 327 ammo on the shelf, and that was the first time I'd seen it in an actual brick and mortar store in several years.
