What I'm looking for is a GLOSS, 1" tube with up to 40mm objective to compliment a classic ANIB 22 rifle from the 70s. Anything from old reliable Tasco Japan to Leupold and others. Condition is everything in what I'm looking for.

I would never consider a TASCO worthy enough to sit on the Remington 541S you recently purchased. Hope you will be pleased with the Nikon.--KURT

I have recently bought 4 Tasco scopes at 4 different times/sellers . So far very pleased . The prices were great and the condition very good.

Stick with the Japan made scopes and pass on the ones made in Taiwan and China.
