40 degrees on the summit a bit ago. Storm coming in.

The mud is going to be even more epic. The price of water, I guess.

This morning I quit wearing long johns.

Yesterday afternoon we were late feeding cows and I had the A/C going in the tractor. Not kidding.

(this morning I woke up at 6AM and gave myself a haircut)

I predict a wild spring and summer for 2024.

Already down below freezing, which is not what we've been experiencing. I think it was 45F this morning when I woke.

Sam, you folks going to get any moisture out of these systems hitting us in the farther western states?

We were expecting -27 tomorrow, but a few days ago they started lightening up... and now it is expected to bottom out about -18.

However, we have had 8 1/2' of snow with lots more in the forecast. It is only the 9th time to surpass 100" and the second time to do it in back-to-back years. Snow berm in my front yard is over 8'

I am tired of shoveling that white schit!

It was in the low 60s last weekend. Still in the high 50s. Normal winter temps is mid 40s. Been warm this winter for the most part.

Not cold enough. Looking at a high of 63 today. Highs in 50s for the next 5 days. I sure wish we would see a little snow.
