Have heard this from friends on reservation in Wyoming. No State jurisdiction. Has to be FBI.

Republican South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem told Newsmax on Wednesday that Mexican drug cartels have set up shop on tribal reservations in her state because they know the federal government has jurisdiction over those lands, and that the Biden administration is "letting it happen."

Dump illegals off in black neighborhoods and kick the blacks out of their own schools and community centers.

Let the cartels set up shop on the reservations.

Blacks and Indians will still vote for them. Unbelievable.

Vote for them? They probably invited them.

Strange that this is getting attention now

No different than the booze peddlers back when setting up on the reservations, when the powers to be ended that the peddlers simply moved a few feet off the rez line.

The problem isn’t the rez it’s the product and people bringing it to the rez. The first insurmountable barrier should be our national border, or what we had of one.

Pine ridge has become the devil’s playground, cartel killings there and in rapid city. Like others have said, gang bangers been chillin’ on the rez for 20 years.

Ive worked my entire career on the rez chasing cartel memebers.

Yep, it’s been going on for years. Somewhere in the early 2000’s we stopped a car with 2 natives and a sleeping Mexican. 30 some odd thousand in cash was seized.

The Rez is and always has been a Cartel of their own.

I’ve heard it said when they get elected to the council: they got four years to make a living for the rest of their lifes.

Of course they are. The cartels have a ready and solid customer base on the rez, and the govt. continues to get kickbacks from them amongst other conduits of cash the cartels offer.

Although you and I have tilled this soil a few times on the phone, in case anyone reading might not know, hopefully it's okay that I reiterate you have direct and deep connections into the FN communities.

Mine are much more arm's length than yours, but certainly from what we keep hearing from former and current LEO, your observation is correct.
