I think reliability can be hit or miss, but they seem to function a little better with the 760/7600's vs the semi-autos. I actually have an extra one laying around somewhere, not exactly sure who manufactured it.

When I was a kid. Deer were run with hounds and most everyone hunted with a 30-30 or a Remington semi Auto or pump. Some wanted the extended magazines and they didn't feed as well as the regular magazine. My dad had one for his 742 and it would jam. His was Remington brand.
