According to my new Leupold catalog they now have only the one screw per side BUT with the Torx screws for the grooved 22rf rings...the Mark IV have two per side but are for cross slot/Weaver style bases.....I have used some of the one screw -Torx rings and they hold well and the Torx screw can be tighten too tight and not deform.....use only the short arm of the torx wrench to finger tighten and they hold fine......HTH...good luck and good shooting!!

Ended up getting Burris steel rings for the Weaver base that came with my "little favorite" Only problem is that the #%!!!! thing didn't come drilled & tapped! Base plate & screws with no holes to put them in! Virgil B.
