4:19 in the morning and I can’t sleep!!!!

I am, and proud to have made it as far as I did. There's a few times that I thought I was through. I can still cook edible food for myself and get in and out of bed ( usually) and use the latrine in the conventional manner. I'm blessed compared to some I've known Either you get old or you don't

Popped two Aleve II and a Restoril cap just before bed at 9:30. Once up to drain the lizard around 3 am, but slept sound the rest of the night. Thank goodness that pesky Restless Leg Syndrome crap did not kick in. If I had known that getting old sucked so bad, I would have taken out one of those extended warranty plans.

Happens when you get old Tore my LCL a couple of months ago, the 1st month after the incident I did not sleep for more than an hour a night because of the pain. The worst thing about the lack of sleep and chronic unrelenting pain is that it changes your demeanor and persona. I went from being a happy camper to a miserable SOB. Sleep deprivation combined with unrelenting pain is not fun! Being old on top of it makes the healing and recovery time take forever

The Doc said it was normal to get up and pee 3 times a night, He said call me if you start to forget the getting up part.
Also a couple of Ibuprofens before bed will cut that down to once a night.
The higher your tolerance for pain, the longer you can live.

Since Aquablation procedure mostly make it through the night.........
Full moons OTOH will keep me restless for about 4 days, cloudy or bright, doesn't matter, just don't sleep well close to a full moon.....
