Had this put together for the wife.

Savage 10 in a green hogue overmold with a takeoff stainless bbl. Shoots sub MOA with barnes handloads. Steel weaver style basis (I think they are Warnes). I have a thin walnut painted black butt plate for it which will shorten the lop by about 1/2 inch for someone small of stature. Cheek pad for those who are recoil shy.

Great 1 gun hunter pig, deer, elk, & moose rifle.

Spare magazine included.

$435 shipped in lower 48. Cross listed on other sites.

That would make a heck of a starter gun for some youngster.

Pretty good setup. Like you said, it will take most any game hunted in the lower 48.

Does the cheek pad come off easily? Hell, it might be nice to have a bit of a raised comb.

Is it the Hogue with the pillar bedding?

Yes, the comb can be peeled off. It's just a lightweight adhesive. Yes, the Hogue has the pillars in it.

Bump for a hunting machine. 140 barnes TTSX will take everything on that list above without breaking your shoulder.
