I picked up an Ultra Ten II this weekend at the LGS.I haven't seen this model before,is it something unusual?

The ultras are three inch. Isn’t it a polymer double stack? It’s a model they made for a short time. External extractor I believe

Ive got the one in 45 AURP. got it in 2005, they only made them for about 5 yrs. 5" upper is the Match slide, sights, barrel/bushing. Polymer frame, double stack, I think the lowers were made in Israeli - have to look. great gun. the 3" would be more like a 40 with a lot of muzzle blast.

Just to add, I shoot 40S&Ws in my 10mm all the time. Some really good deals on practice stuff out there

I had one briefly. Bought it mainly for a gun newb to learn how to shoot as his new girlfriend and him were being stalked by her ex-husband! Wish I could have kept it. Worked 100% for me.

Yes it's the polymer lower dbl stack--I also have the Big one--BP Ten II which I really like so I bought the "shorty"as well but the shorty extractor is different from the bigger one--the big one has that weird 3 piece extractor
