I saw that the 1st time you posted it, but thanks for the link regardless.

BTW .... The bbl is not mine. It belongs to a young fellow I know who is new to the area. I will pass on the info all have offered and let him decide if he needs to seek a professional or not.

Looks like it needs to be silver soldered to me. Epoxy will not work. Too much pressure and heat. Not a good combo for a gun

Silver soldering wilI require way too much heat, soft solder would be better.

As far as epoxy goes, I would use this https://www.jbweld.com/product/j-b-extremeheat.

There's not a whole lot of pressure at the muzzle.

What's the worst that could happen?

I would try Loctite 680 retaining compound.
