In my early 50’s my sleep quality went to crap. I would wake up at 1 or 2 am after 4 hours of sleep or so, and not be able to go back to sleep. This was happening 3-5 times a week. I had heard magnesium glycinate helps with sleep. I take 400 mg daily and most nights get 8 hours uninterrupted sleep. Apparently most adults are severely lacking in magnesium. It would be worth a try.

I get 5-6 hours a night...

If I get a 1 hour nap during the day I am glad up it... if not, I just keep trucking.

A workout or having a physical job does NOT help me sleep.
And my conscience is clear.

I did get another 2 hrs, so 5.5 for the night.

Don't eat anything or drink alcohol a few hours before you want to go to sleep.

Take a dose of Melatonin (not slow release) 30 min before you want to go to sleep.

Turn off all the lights and do something boring to clear your mind. The only thing that works for me is playing Solitaire on my iPad. After 30 min I can't keep my eyes open.

Stumble to bed and turn your alarm around so you can't see it. Don't look at for the rest of the night.

When you get up to pee don't do anything else but pee.

If something else wakes me up in the middle of the night I take another 3 mg dose of Melatonin

This has been working for me for years. I have to pee twice a night and have had to for to all my life. Nothing else works even prescription drugs.

Find a mask that’s comfortable for you. It took three models for me to find one that worked. I found one where the hose comes into the top vs. in front. Having it in the top with a small nose piece lets me roll from my back to either side without fighting the hose.

Try a dose of melatonin about an hour before you hit the rack.
Are you aware of the class action suit on the cpap machines? Among other things, the foam filters breakdown and cause lung cancer.

If I have to stay up past 10 pm, it fugs up my sleep schedule for at least a day, sometimes 2, and my daytime activities as well. I have to make an effort to get back on it. I got old.....

I don't nap afternoons, if I can help it - sometimes (see above), I just have to take a 30...

I wish my wife wasn't so fond of those redeye flights, using an airport 150 miles away.....

Mine are gettin' pretty saggy and hangin' low in my old age.

Maybe I should try some of that melatonin stuff, tighten things up a bit?

Just a low THC strain.

But, some of these fellas are scared of any of it.

No scientific difference but there is a legal one. in Nevada hemp is legal and the gummies I use only have .3% residual THC, not enough for any high and they won’t trigger a positive drug test. A couple of them darn sure bring on drowsiness. I don’t use them for pain relief so I can’t comment on that.

I'm sorry officer, I just grew that plant from some seeds someone told me were hemp grin

Yeah, the science of cannaninoids and such has done a lot in the last few years. Imaging where we might be if it hadn't been such a pain in the ass for research facilities to get "permission" from the DEA or other agencies for the past 60+ years.

Melatonin is a natural hormone. It won’t shrink your jewels. 😊

Yep. I’m aware of the recall and I’ve had a replacement machine for almost a year. I got a notice about a month ago about a rebate and it’s been filed.
