About 35* warmer now than 24 hours ago. 10*F. In mid 20s for highs rest of the week.

About 10 years ago my outfitter from Africa came here for some outdoor shows. I picked them up at their hotel to take them for a tour at Niagara Falls. The day before when they left South Africa it was 40C (104F) and when I picked them up it was -25C (-13F). Culture shock!!
When we got to Niagara Falls we saw a couple walking in shorts and light jackets. I asked them where they were from. They said “The Yukon - this is warm for us!”
5C (41F) and sunny today here. Warm enough for a cigar and scotch outside.

Little bit here today.

High 40s here on the bay... No snow yet this year. 50/50 we will get any.
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

We are in the 30 above instead of 30 below. Snows all gone except for a few drifts in the fields. Love this global warming. Edk

Yestaday. The DRW is parked for now. Drove through some wet snow and shook her off on some wash board gravel about a mile away. You don't want to park a wet muddy pickup(4 wheeler, SxS, etc) and then have it freeze up.

I just put down a truck load of cinders to park the excavator on. Took us half an hour Wednesday morning pouring buckets of fish water on the tracks to get things thawed out to where they would turn. 6 AM winter fun, lol.
Put the machine on the pad; most of the cinders promptly started their trip down to China. Good thing I ordered four loads, smh.

I heard on the news tonight that Nashville has got more snow than Minnenoplace this winter. It is crazy here. Hardly any snow, poor ice and daytime temps above freezing for another week or more. If we don't get some snow or rain we are going to be burnt up by May 1st.
I am always looking for factory wood stocks!

Supposed to be 57 here Thursday and above freezing during the day way into march.
This has been a good winter.

The snow is chest deep in my yard now, but it’s warmed up to 10°! It’s damn near spring weather out there! Hopefully I’ll have grass by June.
