First time with some A2 on this lambfoot in stabilized burl. It does feel "snappier" than the other steels I've tried so far. 8670, AEB-L CPM-154, so not a lot of data points. But I've heard several makers say something similar about A2.

Still working through issues with gaps in spine and hidding pins.
Lambfoot in A2 and stabilized burl. Hand rubbed to 800grit on blade, engraved with diamond scratch bit, hand rubbed to 2000grit on scale, wax matte finish

video of walk and talk here. watch to the end to see phone fall.

Thanks. It's inspired from a Jospeh Rodgers lambfoot. I took it apart, scanned the parts then redrew and modified in 2D Inkscape CAD.

Beautiful knife. You’re not too far from me. Doubtful but do you have a retail shop?

They told me it makes for a better spring so that's why the action is snappier I'd say

I am in Utica in basement shop of my house. You're welcome anytime too see the shop and any part of the process.

There are some other folder makers in the area. Mike Rothman, full time slipjoint maker is an hour away in Manlius, NY, and Tulip knives is small batch slipjoints, like GEC ish starting up soon also in Utica.

Very nice. Keep it up.

Now let’s see a GEC’ish 48 frame trapper. Dyed bone scales. smile
