Maybe if dogs didn’t love us so much , it wouldn’t hurt so bad when we have to let them go . Charlie was such a sweet and precious girl, the two years we had her . We decided we were too old to start with a puppy again so we adopted a 4 year old golden doodle . She had been just a breeder dog for her original owner, but she was a house dog and our fur baby . I wouldn’t have thought I could love a dog so much , and she loved us back. This one hurts.

My deepest sympathies. Man doesn't deserve dogs, for they are far better people than we. And when one allows us to share their life, no matter how long, it is truly, magnificent.

You certainly have my empathy and sympathy. Losing a loving canine companion is one tough deal. Their devotion is so pure and sincere that you just can't put a value on it, and the day of loss is a stiff price for it.
Hang in there.

Sorry for your loss. Always nice to curl up with a big puppy on the recliner when it’s below zero outside. I’m sure your dog was happy with the two good years he had with you.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Sorry for your loss, sounds like Charlie had a good family. Always hate to hear about losing one - been down that road too many times.
Even though it hurts like hell at the time, they will still bring smiles years from now when I think back on them.
Takes a bit of the pain away. You’ll have those memories in the future to draw on.

I am very sorry for your loss, and I hope you find peace and happiness again.
I've got an ex-breeding girl, her name is Sprout. She has bladder control issues because of the litters she has already had, but she is the perfect puppy otherwise. I took a few years after my baby girl Pebbles passed to be open to another dog that I damn knew I'd bond with, and it was hard.
It's tough letting them in, and it's tough letting them go. I wish you the best sir, my prayers are with you.

My 9 year old shelter rescue dog is asleep at the other end of the couch, by my feet, as I type this. I cant make a move without her shadowing me most of the time. I fear the day when I have to watch her go. You have my sympathy.
