Years ago, when we raised hogs that's what we used to keep them in the pen.

Seen a female Walmart worker she had a nose ring, piercing in both cheeks, eyebrows, ears and bottom of the lip looked like a freak.

It is unattractive to me. Maybe that's why they do it.

I have seen some very attractive females with nose rings.

Ok, I understand that chicks (and guys!) do the facial piercings thing as an attention getter. I once went to a small indoor rodeo. The concession stand was under the bleachers, and wanting to help support a small time outfit, I decided a "Frito pie" would be a good option.
The little cutie that took my order had a face and lips full of little rings and studs.
