Hope someone here snagged it. Early featherweight with uncut aluminum butt. Stock was a little rough but the price was right!

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Looks like a 1963 std wt, that hasn't been shot much. Fair deal..

I'm chasing this one, hopefully not bidding against anybody else from 24HCF. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1033594215

Thanks, I'm near the top of what I want to pay and it didn't meet the reserve. My reason for interest is I've got a pre-war 375 and would like the added velocity of the Weatherby but really don't want to modify my current rifle.

Damn, that crack happens a lot on the heavy kickers. It's always funny how many guys say they have never had one crack like that.

Your link is of a bunch of rifles. Which one is "unfired"?

The 375 that you linked to earlier claims to be unfired in the Gunbroker ad. That's what I was referring to. Apologies for the confusing post.

Yeah, they probably got confused. That is a nice classic fwt though. 6 digit, probably made in the late 90's. What year do you think? 1998? Probably why it's not there, when woodsman called on it.

I saw a really nice 7STW classic sporter the other day. Had a $500.00 Leupold on top of it, and they were wanting $1,200.00 for it. The "money maker" was an older Ruger 10/22 with boat paddle stock in immaculate condition for less than $400.00. Could have got it for $375.00, but like I've said before, I don't buy every good deal I run across. Check those and see what they bring on gunbroker.

Yep, very late ‘99. G318xxx left the warehouse in February of 2000 so I’d guess the fw above at Dec ‘99 or Jan 2000.

I bet they figured out their screw up, because that rifle is worth much more than that. Even a clean XTR brings more, even though it's a boring ol 30-06..
