I am about to do load development for my BFR .475 Linebaugh for a new batch of bullets, Barnes XPB 275 gr., to be used for deer. I already have a great round using a 410 gr Cast Performance bullet, but I want to try a lighter, faster load for deer, hopefully also with a bit less recoil. If something works out, I may take the BFR on an Axis deer hunt this spring.
Powders on hand are A4100, H110, and IMR4227. Any experience with loads using this bullet?
