I hunted in our usual spot in the Flat Tops Sept. archery. 11;000 ft up on top. Never had we seen fewer sign , bugles or elk . Almost none

Winter kill up there was not supposed to be an issue , but we do know you couldn’t get up there horseback until early July. I’m not sure if the cows couldn’t get that high to calve and they all stayed lower .. We aren’t sure about this year

So they fly from 12-1 till 2-1 for the counts generally.

Then they take the numbers into a closed room to add the special sauce.

Then apps are sent in.

Then quotas are set.

In between the closed room and quotas being set most of the dying takes place. You are saying that they ad-libbed the quotas (and reduced tag allotments) using new math then reverted back to the survey #'s for published herd #'s??

Because of Colorado stance on keeping Trump off the ballot. I am boycotting Colorado. My money is going to Utah and Wyoming. Until Colorado pulls it's head out of its ass, everyone should. FC and FJB!

Unfortunate, but there are 1000 people waiting behind you to buy a tag. Colorado is sunk and won't ever pull their head out. The state legislature es fully liberal democratic majority and follow Polis.
