Get the powder boards waxed and aim for first chair. Didn't have garbage pickup for three weeks in a row in January cuz the garbage men were a bunch of puzzies. They billed me for a full monthly amount, I said GFY (not on autopay). Wolf Creek and Steamboat are the only resorts in CO that have decent snow base. Last edited by MuskegMan; 02/08/24.

In my experience though, from a traveling perspective, the first inch or two are the most dangerous. The road just getting slick, people driving stupid, and much more traffic than later in a storm. Once it gets deeper, folks stay home, traction is usually a little better. Unless there is slush. Slush sucks. You into trouble! Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

Just glad my wife and mom are safe at home and not traveling. This afternoon about 3PM I shoveled off the driveway, backed my pickup up towards the garage and it slid back down about 3'.
