Try this…
3-4 tablespoons of avacado oil on med/high heat into a deep pot with a lid
When those pop dump in a heaping half a cup of kernels with four cloves of thinly sliced garlic.
Pop as normal, add butter, salt, hot sauce, whatever you want on top.

After breaking a second tooth chomping down on a partly popped kernel, I gave up popcorn. Used to have it as a meal. Missed it dearly for years.
Recently bought a bag of Chicka-Boom store popcorn in a bag. Was surprisingly good. Pretty much filled my "yen" for a while but I still love popcorn. Liked to add hot sauce to the oil when popping, lightly salted, no butter.

I make popcorn in cast iron in oil. Pop it, then melt butter, and season it heavily with Cajun two step. It turns out really good
