I need two electrical window switches for my 1988 Toyota 4Runner. The keyed tailgate window switch (#84830-89102) and the center console tailgate window switch (#84810-89104).
Both switches lower the window, but neither will raise it back up. I have looked for days, on line and with every auto used parts yard in Fl and Ga with no luck.

Any lead would be much appreciated.

#84830-89102 discontinued part.

I'd be checking out the window regulator motor if two switches are doing the same thing. Or common wiring for both switches. Highly unlikely both switches go bad at the same time in the same way.

the tailgate keyed switch has been bad for years. The console switch just went bad. My mechanic is an old like Toyota specialist and can fabricate a switch if necessary.

When you have anything that old, you need to look for parts on a regular basis. I mean parts that you know my go bad or ones that are consumable. I have antique outboards and every time I see something I may need in the future, I grab it if the price is right. I also have a 24 year old Tundra, and I've started with it. I noticed my sun visor is getting loose and sagging a bit, so I looked for one that matched and found one a couple years ago. My original is still hanging in there, but it could go at any time. I peruse the 'net for parts at least once a week.

Give this outfit a call. They've helped me out with some obscure Volvo parts.

so far I have been able to source everything needed. I am parting with the old truck though and was hoping not to have to dump any more money into it. December it was $1000 for a new windshield. My son is taking the '88 to use as a farm/woods truck.

A couple of the square Bosch type cube relays and a double throw toggle switch spring loaded to the center "off" position should be able to duplicate the function of the original switch. You could even add a keyed on/off master switch it you want to operate the window from outside the vehicle.

Sounds like you might have better luck finding large rifle primers. Good luck!

Try this outfit - https://www.junkyarddog.com/

They have come up with some obscure parts for me. They send the request to multiple junkyards that are tied to their system.
